At what point could Ativan use become fatal?
Is it possible for someone to overdose on Ativan pills? A friend of mine says yes, but it seems to me that it would take a lot since (as I understand) they give pretty heavy doses via shots in hospitals.

sure its a mind altering drug. it can sedate you, to the point of coma or to stop breathing. You can definitely OD on it. But usually its only fatal when its mixed with alcohol and other drugs.

They do give high doses in the hospital but they have the equipment there to assist the patient if they stop breathing. A person could definitly OD on Ativan pills.
